Mark Bunn arrived in B6 in July 2015.

He joined in time for Villa's pre-season tour of the Algarve.

The goalkeeper started out in Tottenham's youth team before joining Northampton Town of the then Division Two.

He established himself as a firm fans' favourite at Sixfields - making over 100 appearances.

The climax of the 2006/07 season saw Bunn notch the Northampton Town player of the season award.

A year later, the stopper joined Premier League Blackburn Rovers and made his debut in an FA Cup third round tie against Blyth Spartans.

During four years at Ewood Park, Bunn played understudy to No.1 Paul Robinson and enjoyed loan spells at Leicester City and Sheffield United.

He joined Norwich City in 2012 and made 23 appearances - predominately in the Premier League.

His Canaries debut arrived in a home League Cup clash against Doncaster Rovers where he kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory.

He held on to the gloves for the subsequent League Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur in which he was named 'man of the match' in part due to his last minute penalty save which helped Norwich to a 2-1 victory.

Bunn worked with goalkeeping coach Tony Parks in Norfolk and cited their strong-working relationship as a key reason for choosing a move to the Second City.
